Introduction

Leave management helps in creating and managing different types of leaves according to the requirement of the organisation. It helps staff in managing the leaves of the members. Interestingly, the leave balance report will be visible in the payslip also.

How to create new leave types?

You can create a new type of leaves according to the policy of the organisation in the following ways-

1. Go to Masters.

2. Click on Leave management (as shown below).

3. You will be redirected to the leave management dashboard. Click on Add leave type.

4. A new pop-up will appear which will prompt you to add a new leave type.

You will be required to fill the mandatory fields and click on Save.

Active / Inactive


How to assign new leaves to a member?

You can create a new type of leaves according to the policy of the organisation in the following way-

1. Go to the Personnel Card of an active member.

2. Click on Leave management (as shown below).

3. You will be redirected to a new page of Leave Dashboard. Click on Assign leave type (as shown below).

4. A new pop-up will appear where you are required to fill in the details.

  • Select the type of leave

  • Select the Leave calculation method

    • Automatic recorded rate

    • Manually recorded rate

  • Leave accrued details will appear auto-filled based on the type of leave selected

  • Fill in the opening balance of the leaves

  • The current balance will appear auto-calculated

  • Click on Submit.

5. You can assign different types of leaves. All the assigned leaves will appear on the dashboard.


How to record leave requests of a member?

You can record the leave requests of a member in the following way-

1. Go to the Personnel Card of the concerned member. Click on Leave management (as shown below) to open the Leave Dashboard of the respective member.

2. Click on New Leave request (as shown below).

3. A new pop-up will appear where you are required to fill in the details.

  • Select the type of leave

  • Mention the reason of leave

  • Select the leave start date

  • Select the leave end date

  • Check/uncheck the option - exclude weekends/ Public holidays as per the organisation policy

  • Enter the number of leaves availed

  • Click on Approve.

4. The approved leave request will appear on the dashboard. And the leave balance will be updated accordingly.
