New Update in Seek - 11/07/2023

Update: Seek has changed the API Token Expiry time from 1 day to 30 mins. 

Impact on EOH: Token expiry time is comparatively short. Users may or may not be able to complete the process with Seek within the provided expiry time of 30 mins. 

Solution provided by EOH: We have implemented a refresh token process to address the impact. The refresh token system provides an efficient and secure solution for managing long-lived access to resources. This refresh token system will:

• Minimizes authentication overhead.

• Enhances security by using short-lived access tokens.

• Seamless connectivity without impacting users.

• Allows fine-grained access control.

It also offers centralized token management, token revocation capabilities, and scalability to handle large-scale deployments.
