Industry Awards
There is a provision within Entire OnHire to set up industry awards that are specific to an organisation. The information required to set up industry awards is gained by the Implementation team during the onboarding process.
This information is then used to build your awards so everything is ready for go-live however, it is important to know how to add new awards or edit existing awards.
To access industry awards, please follow the menu path:
Protocols > Industry Awards
There are three ( 4 ) tabs required to be completed within an award.
Shifts Protocols
The information entered in this tab tells Entire OnHire what your shifts are. These protocols will override any information entered in a booking by Allocations staff and, will therefore display it correctly in Confirm Shifts.
Shift Conditions
The information entered in this tab tells Entire OnHire how you want the shifts nominated in the protocols tab to behave when you select the process award/overtime conditions button during shift verification. There are two different ways you can set your shift behaviour in this screen.
1. The left-hand side of the screen allows you to set shifts that will have the same single rate applied to them for the entire length of the shift, regardless of times.
2. Alternatively, the right-hand side of the screen allows you to set splits in shifts to signify at what time during a shift a different rate will apply.
Overtime Conditions
The information entered in this tab tells Entire OnHire when overtime applies and what type of overtime applies. There are three different overtime conditions you can set in this tab. These are:
1. Outside Ordinary Hours Overtime is applicable
This overtime condition is used if there are shifts within your award that are set to specific times and, should any member work outside of those specific times, overtime would apply. NB: the conditions under which this applies are entered in the fourth tab
2. Single Day ( 24 Hrs ) Overtime is applicable
This overtime condition is used if your award states that overtime applies after a certain amount of hours has been worked in one day ( 24 hour period ).
3. Weekly Overtime Worked Hours Conditions
This overtime condition is used if your award states that overtime applies to any hours that are worked beyond 38 hours in one week.
Please note: It is common to have both shift condition 2 and 3 set however please be aware that single day overtime will always override weekly overtime
